Dennis Williams Biography

Dennis “The Bison” Williams is married to his beautiful bride Bobbie and has the honor of being the father of Eagle Scout and OA Lodge Chief Josh. He began his “Scouter” service as a Den Leader, Pack Trainer and Cubmaster of Pack 3150. During this time he also served as District FOS Chair, District Popcorn Chair, Roundtable staff and a District training team member. He crossed over to Boy Scouts with Josh and became an Assistant Scoutmaster where He went through Wood Badge Course SR-655 as a member of the Buffalo patrol. Since Boy Scouts He has been OLS Course Director, District Training Chair, District Popcorn Chair, OA Chapter Adviser, a “staffer” on Wood Badge courses SR-831 and SR-948, has staffed all eight University of Scouting programs and was the Chairman of the 2010 Centennial Scout Show. He has earned the Den Leader, Cubmaster, Boy Scout Training, Adult Religious, District Award of Merit and Silver Beaver Awards. In addition he has earned his Doctorate Degree from University of Scouting and received his Vigil Honors from our own Talidandaganu’ Lodge. Dennis is currently an Assistant Scout Master at Troop 224, OA Lodge Indian Affairs Adviser and a member of the Council Camping Committee.
But mostly Dennis is “The Bison” and Loves Wood Badge!
