Laura Wilson currently serves as a Committee member for Pack 3266 and Troop and has served as a member of the national Cub Scout Program Helps Task Force. She recently returned to school majoring in early childhood education and will be receiving her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in May, 2011. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) in April, 2010.
At Philmont, she attended Roundtable Commissioner training and more recently participated in the Program Helps Program Enrichment Workshop. She has been a Cub Scout Dean and an Instructor for Cherokee Area Council's University of Scouting; attended National Camp School for Day Camp and was the Mountain District Day Camp Program Director; Advancement Day Program Director; Cub and Partner Program Director and served as the Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner for Mountain District, Cherokee Area Council. She has received the District Award of Merit.
Last July, she attended the 2010 National Jamboree where she worked on staff with the United Methodist Church.
She is a Fox from Wood Badge course SR-655, served as a Troop Guide for the Bobwhite Patrol in course SR-831, as a Scribe for SR-948, and as an Assistant Quartermaster for S6-556-11-1.
