Tim Reutebuch, a member of the Fox Patrol from Woodbadge course SR-831, has been in scouting since 2001 when he and his son, Zachary, joined Pack 3150 in Ooltewah, TN. Within a year he'd been recruited as an Assistant Cub Master. After taking his Leader Essentials, Basic training and Leader Specific training for Cub Masters, he continued in his role as Assistant Cub Master (earning his Scouter's knot along the way) until 2006 when his son crossed over to Troop 216. After taking his Leader Essentials, Basic training and Leader Specific training for Scoutmasters as well as Outdoor Leader Skills training, Tim served as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 216 until 2007. At that time, he and his son joined Troop 147, the Troop in Ooltewah associated with their "home" Pack. Since 2007, Tim has continued to serve as an Assistant Scoutmaster at Troop 147. During his time there, he has earned his trainer's knot and his Woodbadge beads. He is currently in the process of changing his role to that of the Scoutmaster of Troop 147. Tim has earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of Scouting, been an instructor for Den Chief at the University of Scouting, taught Cub Master Leader Specific training, God and Church, Troop Leadership Training and Leave No Trace. He has faithfully updated his Youth Protection Training, taken the BSA Trainer Developement Conference training, Climb on Safely, Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat and is now looking forward to his role as a Troop Guide for Woodbadge course SR-948.
